Moonbot Studios (The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore) has another Oscar-contending short with Taking Flight, inspired by Radio Flyer wagon inventor Antonio Pasin.
Directed by Brandon Oldenburg, exec produced by William Joyce and Trish Farnsworth-Smith and produced by Robert Pasin (Antonio’s grandson and Radio Flyer CEO) and Lampton Enochs, Taking Flight is an imaginary what if: a small boy’s boring day with grandpa turns into an thrilling journey with wild monkeys and a battle with aliens to save the universe. That’s Moonbot in a nutshell.
