Vlogging New Skyfall Aston Martin DB5

007.com has released a new videoblog about the classic Aston Martin DB5 that’s reintroduced for professional use by Daniel Craig’s James Bond in Skyfall. Producer Michael Wilson recalls the legacy, and director Sam Mendes mentions his Corgi toy from childhood, especially the retractable shield, and suggests that since the new film is a combination of the old and the new, the DB5 fits right in. In fact, he says there’s something about the last part of the movie that “very consciously” could’ve taken place in 1962.
