Trailering World War Z

It’s a frantic fight for survival for Brad Pitt and his family in World War Z (June 21, 2013), the zombie invasion thriller directed by Marc Forster (Quantum of Solace) and adapted by Max Brooks’ novel.

In the initial trailer, we glimpse the mayhem in New York and globally, with Pitt being recruited to combat the zombies as a UN specialist but having to leave his family. It looks like Forster has leveraged his Bond experience nicely for this tense actioner. Paramount envisions a trilogy.

“I learned a tremendous amount about CGI on WWZ, creating a realistic world in which the antagonists — the zombies — were computer generated or enhanced,” explains Oscar-winning cinematographer Bob Richardson.
