Trailering Tomorrowland from Brad Bird

Watch the first teaser for Brad Bird’s Tomorrowland (May 22, 2015) and get a glimpse of his “somewhere in time” sci-fi adventure.

EW has a first-look at this wondrous mash-up of Walt Disney and Oz scripted by Damon Lindelof and Bird. But the trailer starts to reveal the enigmatic place and state of mind embodied by “Tomorrowland,” with restless teen Casey (Britt Robertson of Under the Dome) uncovering a mysterious pin that puts her in touch with hermit and failed inventor Frank (George Clooney).  It’s the ultimate battle against cynicism and greed, and like Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar, there’s nostalgia for the spirit of adventure and invention that defined America.  The VFX by ILM should be very cool.
