Trailering Taking Flight Short from Moonbot

Moonbot Studios (The Fantastic Flying Books of Mr. Morris Lessmore) has another Oscar-contending short with Taking Flight, inspired by Radio Flyer wagon inventor Antonio Pasin.

Directed by Brandon Oldenburg, exec produced by William Joyce and Trish Farnsworth-Smith and produced by Robert Pasin (Antonio’s grandson and Radio Flyer CEO) and Lampton Enochs, Taking Flight is an imaginary what if:  a small boy’s boring day with grandpa turns into an thrilling journey with wild monkeys and a battle with aliens to save the universe. That’s Moonbot in a nutshell.

There will be a qualifying Oscar run at the Laemmle Royal Theater in West LA on Sept. 18. Visit the Taking Flight site for more info.
