Trailering More Into the Woods

Get a greater glimpse of Stephen Sondheim’s musical masterpiece, Into the Woods (Dec. 25), which explores the dark side of  ”I wish.”

Be careful what you wish for, because Meryl Streep’s Witch sets up a chain reaction of dire consequences in this fairy tale mash-up of Cinderella (Anna Kendrick), Little Red Riding Hood (Lilla Crawford), Jack and the Beanstalk (Daniel Huttlestone), and Rapunzel (MacKenzie Mauzy), all tied together by an original story involving a Baker and his Wife (James Corden and Emily Blunt) and their desire for a child.

Director Rob Marshall (Chicago) is the perfect choice for a cinematic adaptation. I look forward to interviewing  the award-winning production team of cinematographer Dion Beebe, production designer Dennis Gassner, and three-time Oscar-winning costume designer Colleen Atwood.
