Like the most recent Prometheus trailer, the third one for The Amazing Spider-Man best captures the essence of the movie: Peter Parker’s angst and longing to understand his personal history so he can proceed with more geeky fun and existential certainty. The action is fast and furious and full of web-slinging; and fate plays a larger role in this seemingly melancholy reboot starring Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone. Coming in 3-D (including IMAX) July 3rd. Also out is a stunning new image of the CG Lizard from Sony Pictures Imageworks.
