Trailering American Sniper from Clint Eastwood

Watch the first teaser for Clint Eastwood’s American Sniper (opening Dec. 25).  He looks in top form again. Could the two-time Oscar winner pull off another Million Dollar Baby?

Bradley Cooper (doubling as producer) plays Chris Kyle, “the most lethal sniper in U.S. military history.” The Navy SEAL known as “Legend” serves four grueling tours of duty in Iraq, where a price is put on his head. But he appears to be much shakier on the home front with his wife (Sienna Miller) and kids.

Eastwood’s veteran crew are shoo-ins for awards consideration: Oscar-nominated cinematographer Tom Stern (Changeling); Oscar-nominated production designer James J. Murakami (Changeling); production designer Charisse Cardenas; Oscar-winning editor Joel Cox (Unforgiven) and editor Gary D. Roach; and costume designer Deborah Hopper.
