Clipping Spectre Title Sequence for Writing’s on the Wall

In support of Sam Smith’s Oscar-nominated “Writing’s on the Wall,” ┬áSony has released the opening title sequence to Spectre.

It’s the best way to fully appreciate the love ballad about Daniel Craig’s James Bond retiring his license to kill after encountering his nemesis, Blofeld, and his eponymous terrorist organization.

Daniel Kleinman’s graphic design is a bit of a throwback to the Pierce Brosnan era while continuing Sam Mendes’ desire wrap-up and foreshadow events to come.

Though controversial with Bond fans, “Writing’s on the Wall” (with music and lyrics by Smith & Jimmy Napes), is the first Bond theme song to reach # 1 on the UK singles chart in its first week and has already won the Golden Globe.
