There’s a new must-see featurette, “Creating the Bricks,” which explains the animation behind The Lego Movie (the fourth highest grosser of 2014 with $257.7 million and the Oscar fronrunner for best animated feature). 

Directors Phil Lord and Chris Miller and the animators discuss their wild mixed-media hybrid made at Animal Logic and how they simulated stop-motion with CG along with other tricks. Find out how they did it:
