Kelsey Mann Talks Party Central Short

Despite Pixar not having a feature this year, it worked out perfectly for the MU short, Party Central, to play in front of Muppets Most Wanted since Jim Henson was such an important influence on director Kelsey Mann. “They always had that manic energy when you got a group of Muppets together. Iger Touts The Incredibles 2 and Cars 3

Walt Disney chief Bob Iger told investors at Tuesday’s shareholders meeting in Portland that Pixar is developing sequels to both The Incredibles and Cars. That means Brad Bird has cracked a worthy story and the automotive franchise will continue to fuel the studio (it’s been a box office and merchandising bonanza, and Cars Land has helped revitalize California Adventure). In Rio 2 (April 11), we go from Rio to the Amazon for a richer and more musical comedy/adventure with newcomers Janelle Monae and Bruno Mars.
